Session Details
We like to keep it simple:
- 01. Choose how many hours you want. A 2 hour session is most popular.
- 02. Call 801.328.4064 to schedule.
- 03. Look through your favorite magazines and websites to get ideas. Review our Senior Picture Tips Sheet we'll be sending you after booking.
- 04. Enjoy complete outfit freedom.
- 05. Put your wardrobe together (remember to keep things on hangers) and any other accessories or personal items (yes, you can bring your dog. Remember to bring a handler) you'd like in your shoot. Bring twice what you think you'll need.
- 06. Get a good nights sleep, dont go tanning the day before, arrive early and ready to have a blast!
Your Big Day
Plan Your Outfits
Pack a suitcase full of a variety of clothes, jewelry, hats, scarves. Bring a mix of casual up to more formal wear. Plan your outfits completely- hair to shoes. Bring any props or uniforms that define who you are- musical instruments, skateboards, snowboards, ballet shoes, etc.
Makeup
Get your makeup done at the MAC counter before your session or let us take care of you (avoid sparkles- they reflect in the light and make a spot that looks like a zit). Even if you're not a makeup person, consider that all the images you see in magazines, especially the natural look, is carefully crafted by a pro makeup artist. Photography and makeup are best friends.
Bring a Friend
We love having a friend and/or Mom come along. They can be a big help with your outfit changes and will help you relax. (Be sure to bring someone who doesn't make you nervous.) Remember, though, this session is about you. One friend is helpful but three's a crowd.
Locations
We love shooting on location and have a ton of creative ideas. If you know somewhere you'd absolutely love to shoot please don't hesitate to let us know. If you're not sure, we'll work together to come up with an idea that really represents who you are. Urban, mountain, country, wildflowers- we can make it happen.
